It's not fair to both of you. If you're luke warm about him/her in what are supposed to be the first rampant-rutting months of the relationship, it's pretty likely it won't get better when s(he's) comfortable enough to drop a solid in front of you.

When s(he) constantly has to fit you into his or her crowded schedule and never seems to have a spare Saturday night, it means just one thing ... s(he's) just not that into you. (dudes especially should feel me on this one).
Someone should write a book about it.

When you're scared to take a girl or to take a dude absolutely everywhere - pub, dinner, family,-dos - it's not going to last. She might be cute but if she pops racial or tribal epithets or believes Charles Darwin and the theory of evolution is a fringe concept espoused by liberals and lesbians, it's better you leave her to her own kind.

Be Proactive:
Don’t sit there and wait to be spotted or discovered. Work with whats on offer. When you find someone you like, get down to exposing your worthiness and gaining a favourable position in the dudes or dudettes eyes.
In other words be proactive, else remember time catches up with the hesitant. Ladies and gentlemen its pointless to sit around and wait for that elusive great guy or chic to propose. Nothing comes to those who wait.

I dare say this because you'll also be dating his or her family. If dad happens to be an overprotective plumber from the old country, you'll quickly get tired of arguing that curfews aren't necessary outside of communist Eastern Europe.

For the life of me, what does Oyunga Pala or Njoki Kaigai know about your to be relationship? On the advice, it behooves you to learn what little the author can teach you.
I shit you not ladies and gentlemen, your perfect woman or man could be most of the things the columnists list as flawed, but to you s(he) is still the kindest, funniest, sexiest person you know. All the rules get thrown away when it's meant to be, so don't always take the advice as gospel truth.

Well, am sure by now after the shocks and awes you have realised that "cute and interesting" mean something else all together.
But again there are those who have found their sinatras or romeos and some dudes their malkias. So they may be kissing blind dates goodbye.
